backstory: A loud, obnoxious girl, though some-what endearing to the ones she trusts or considers close. The person Rei is closest with, someone they'd entrust with their life, hence being trusted to be their right hand, despite not being a demon, grim reaper or angel like the others. A homunculus originally created to serve the purpose of a detective, once her masters had passed on Okemia had wandered alone for quite some time.On rare occasions putting in anonymous confessions to help with any cold murder/missing persons cases. On even rarer occasions, tampering with evidence, wanting to see humans capabilities to try and piece things together as it was tampered with.Met Rei as she was tampering with some of their evidence, figuring that Rei was skilled in covering their tracks, Okemia for a short while stalked Rei, watching how they would pull it off. Eventually learning of what their meaning behind any murders, missing persons or beatings that they had done. Despite finding their morals contradictory, they were patient, and waited until some evidence had been left behind to pull Rei up on it.Angry, yet thankful, Rei felt some-what indebted to her. Ever since then, Okemia had followed by Rei's side. Had been curious about the mass disappearances all over the country, eventually finding the culprit; Kira. Finding the concept of the death game something that would be fitting for Rei, and knowing who may be there, Okemia was the one who proposed a plan to Kira to essentially force them into the death game as a Gamemaster via Okemia giving Kira blackmail to Rei. Rei does not know this.

backstory: Previously in a relationship with Koharu Ohara, and was considered one of the closest people to her, one of the only people who made her feel genuinely safe and happy. Though -- unknowingly being manipulated the entire time. Mainly used as a 'bloodbag' for her for a source of food.Aki, being dedicated to Koharu, he'd do anything, even kill. In-fact, he did. Koharu was at main fault for it though, the one who told Aki to actually go kill someone for her -- so she could eat them of course! Both were suspects for the murder, Koharu not wanting to have her hands dirty, confessed that Aki was the one who did the killing, and even cannibalisim. With a few white lies her hands were completely clean. Their relationship was mutually broken off when Aki was in prison, as they wouldn't really be able to see each other.

backstory: A young woman presumed to be dead. Reasons were mostly unknown but it was suspected she went missing and was murdered. Was questioned and eventually trialled in court once found alive. Almost jailed for pseudocide, but was luckily was found innocent of all charges. It seemed targeted against her, with reasons completely unknown.Presumed dead again just months later...?

backstory: A vigilante that was harsh in their morals, despite their ways of punishing crime being contradictory. Though, blinded by some ignorance, tunnel-visioning into their own ideals, physically punishing any criminal who has either, not been convicted yet, previously convicted, highly suspicious and so on. Targeting criminals who are either, murderers, child molesters/rapists, abusers, once again, so on.Rei wouldn't hold back on these people, on some occasions instead of disposing of any evidence, they'd make sure their corpse would be found, purposefully as a subtle message to anyone else who chooses to commit any crimes such as listed before. Though, not always brutally murdering, Rei on more common occasions would either use harsh blackmail. threaten physical violence or actually ensue into physical violence to any criminal.Despite being a Gamemaster on an island filled with murderers, especially working WITH murderers, they certainly feel some-what conflicted, but choose not to comment on it to avoid any arguments and or unwanted violence.Eventually got curious about the mass disappearances of many people, pouring out as much time as they could into researching who went missing, when and last seen locations. Aimlessly wandering around the country with Okemia at this time, and with a few pointers finally narrowing it down to the mastermind; Kira.Unknowingly falling in place with Okemia's plan in place, she watched as Rei attempted to confront Kira in private, only confronted back with evidence and blackmail against them, though not mentioning Okemia's plan of course. For once, scared of the consequences they could face with what Kira had against them, they accepted the place as a Gamemaster without a second thought.

backstory: Outcasted from her oni tribe at birth long with her human mother and oni father. Her father had left at a young age to attempt to head back to his oni-tribe. backstory: A human experiment ran by Hansuke and Hiroto, along side with a dozen others. Mirai doesn't remember much of her early life because of the severe trauma she induced at the lab.Mirai was usually quite and masked being content at the lab. Though, Mirai for years on end had been playing an escape behind Hansuke's back with the help of Hiroto when it became clear that Hiroto didn't want anything to do with this anymore.Mirai eventually went through with the escape, terrorizing the place, blowing it up. Unfortunately there were a small amount of casualties, which Mirai was willing to make for the escape. After the escape Mirai stayed by Haku's side, who could barely fend for himself.

backstory: The little sister of Matsu, grew up in a normal household. Though, her brother was pretty problematic at times, causing trouble at school, and at home. Though a little bit exhausting for her to have such a troubled and hyperactive brother -- she looked up to him dearly and he was a role-model to her.Though around the time she was 16, something that was completely unexpected to her happened. Witnessing her role-model -- her brother, murder both her mother and father. Then her brother attacked her too, she was severely injured, and was obviously expecting to die. But she did fight back-- hurting her brother and calling for help whilst he was temporarily incapacitated.He fled the scene, she hadn't heard from him until the both showed up on the island. Ever since the attack Mai had been severely injured. Having an artificial knee cap and titanium rods in each leg. She primarily uses a walking stick but on occasions she does use a wheelchair for mobility.

backstory: The older brother of Mai, mostly happy, yet troubled and hyperactive person growing up. Would regularly get into trouble. Growing up with bad be behavioural issues lead to Matsu struggling, a lot.For his own amusement and curiosity Matsu thought of the idea to kill both of his parents. Though, was caught by Mai just as he finished, in his own defence and panic he tried to kill her too, but ended up just hurting her almost beyond surgical repair. For some reason, still not killing her.Fleeing the scene whilst injured, as his sister attacked him in defence...once he had fled, Matsu did die from his injuries, and blood loss. But was brought back by Saki and Midori.physical notes: A scar on his stomach from a stab wound and a scar on both sides of his right hand. Both scars originally from Mai though, once brought back the two were healed, but after some complaining, Saki had decided to "give them back if he missed them so much".A scar on his lip on the left from a lip piercing being torn out.Also, a tongue piercing, numerous ear piercings and an eyebrow piercing.

backstory: Ayumu Nakajima's cousin, lived in a separate household but was always close with her younger cousin. She was primarily a shy, and reserved child growing up, looking up to Ayumu a lot. Even now as an adult she'd still sometimes look up to him as a person and how strong he was.When Kokoro was around the age of 18-19, Kokoro was kicked out of her own house by her parents. Wanting to focus their funds primarily on their youngest child. Kokoro having no job, she went to Ayumu for help, as he was the person who she looked up to. Eventually becoming an assistant for him, and his work partner Yuta Kugutsu. This was around the same time Kokoro offered the idea of a deal to the humanoid demon, Amaya Sasaki to help her with said job and keep her company.A couple months after settling into her new job, Kokoro did something that was completely out of character for her -- still knowing Ayumu's older brother, Raiden killed his parents, and even tried to kill him. With the help of Amaya, Kokoro murdered Ayumu's brother with no evidence left behind.Something like this piqued the interest of another demon, Tamashini, who was already in another deal with Megumi Koko. Someone as quiet and reserved as Kokoro going out of her way to kill in stealth and do anything to destroy all evidence, and how she did it with little help from Amaya. Kokoro was hesitant at first, but agreed and took the deal anyways.

backstory: Took the body and name of the late Amaya Sasaki, who was violently beaten to death. When her body was taken over, she wasn't able to properly heal herself as there was too much damage to her body. Left with one of her eyes still hanging out of her face, and a large part of her brain exposed.Kokoro was the one to initially bring up the idea of a deal between the two when she was 18, wanting a helping hand with her job and general company to have around, Amaya happily agreed. Sticking by Kokoro's side since, and became very close with her. Amaya would often think of Kokoro as her best friend, or even an older sister.

backstory: Grew up in a mostly carefree household for a few years with his teen mother in China. Though, eventually moved to Japan to be with the rest of her family for extra support. Fai for most of his life was palmed off to any relative that was free at the time and never had a proper house to stay at.Once he finished high school however, he started to take an interest in the deep web. Needing a source of income as he was struggling to find a job and had little education with no job experience. It was the best he could find. On some odd occasions Fai would turn to some sex work.

This section is basically just general random facts about my OC's that don't really fit into the actual 'backstory' about them! It can literally be anything really obscure about them or something. Aki Igarashi: He's completely deaf in both ears but uses hearing aids. He also knows some very basic sign language, but he rarely uses it to communicate.Koharu was his first girlfriend, he still actually genuinely loves her even after the break-up. The break up was purely mutual, and always promised himself that he'd try to get back with her if he ever got out of prison.He has autism, severe anxiety and PTSD. He has had top surgery, and is currently on testosterone.

Fai Lu: On some occasions he'd turn to sex work to make some quick money just to get him by.The reason he actually 'lost' his eye because he sold it when he was in desperate need for money.He also knew Kokoro, supplying anything she may have needed for work, and became the only person to know that she actually killed someone -- and who it was.

Matsu Endomoto: He never really had any motive to kill. It was quite literally out of his own boredom and curiosity, he doesn't really regret it that much. After killing his parents, Matsu did go on to kill a handful more of people and animals for his own amusement. His first 'actual' kill was Mai's pet bunny when he was about 16.He also has undiagnosed autism and ADHD. It's also rare for him, but he does occasionally have non-verbal episodes.When he did die, it was actually right in front of Saki themselves.

(KATS BACKSTORY) The older, adoptive sister Akihito Ishioka. Adopted not too long after Akihito was born. From a young age Katsumi was extremely gifted during school, and excelled greatly -- surpassing the entirety of her class during school. Later on, even helping her younger brother Akihito during school.Katsumi lived normally, and excelled even more during high school, especially during computer programming, which became her prime subject. Eventually graduating and offered multiple scholarships to universities and later earning her PhD in computer programming.Katsumi would eventually start a small project, simply with a glass eye and wanting to digitalize it. Attempting to 'invent' a better glass-eye that could be used for the visually impaired. The use of this would simply an implant, where the eye originally was. The eye would be able to be designed however the wearer would want at anytime -- as it's completely digitalised. The eye would also have capabilities to record at the wearers will, and would be able to 'charge' with the wearer sleeping.Just as Katsumi was going to reach out to have others inspect her prototype for the eye -- missing persons cases began rapidly appearing, for Kira's death game. Katsumi immediately went to try and find out how so many people went missing so quickly, and so often. Teaming up with Ha-Neul Yoo and Akihito Ishioka. The three would work together, and form a hacker group to find out what happened.The group eventually tracking down the source; Kira Masayo and her on-going death game. Akihito and Ha-Neul both deciding to want to go to the island to try and rescue everyone there, Katsumi went against it. Though, still wanting to keep track of the two, she proposed an idea. That one of them use her prototype eye so they can record and send videos to her on what happens on the island. Akihito, deciding to allow Katsumi to implant the eye; so as long as Katsumi herself did too. Agreeing, though making a deal with that too.If the group were caught in the act for what they were doing and sent to the island; she'd kill the both of them. Though, thinking her prototype was complete there was a bug in it; with extreme emotions the eye could glitch out visually and change appearance and cause temporary blindness and extreme migraines.Though working on side with Katsumi in the hacker group, there was also ?̷̮̼̿͒?̵̦͚̀?̵̤̊͝?̴̲̝̑?̵͓̒?̶̫͐. Who was working for Kira behind everyone's back, gathering participants at the same time. But in an attempt to cause drama, and distrust in the group, ?̷̮̼̿͒?̵̦͚̀?̵̤̊͝?̴̲̝̑?̵͓̒?̶̫͐ was betrayed and sending the group to the island.
